How to Make Your Wife Proud Buying a Boat
I’m not jumping on the boat auction boat wagon when I say that either. I’ve been rolling up my sleeves sifting through damaged bass fishing boats and bank repossessed Sea Rays almost full time for over 6 years now. Boat auctions I’ve noticed are starting to gain a bit more traction lately in spite of the fact that the ecomony is well…flat. But flat is an improvement when you look back to 2007 and 2008. Back then dealers were liquidationg short sale yachts and pwc’s that home owners purchase after refinancing their homes in Florida. But lately I’m seeing more bids online and off and the only thing I can attribute it to is the latest reality show craze that all seem to exagerate and elevate the latest finds for bargain hunters. Whether its Auction Hunters, Storage Wars, Auction Kings, Repo auctions (just to name a few) you’re basically watching guys and gals having fun buying and selling every imaginable asset under the sun. So, hey why not a boat auctions sales reality show? Anyway, let me tell you something. Boats aren’t cheap but buying one at auction can put you in position to tow something home that even your wife would be proud of….well, maybe your girl friend.
